Quick Thoughts

Moon Colony Bloodbath — I almost just bought this after watching 10 minutes of game play. Donald Vaccarino crafts a campy retro-futurism disaster movies? Sure. But I balked and that was probably right. It’s a fun game (more so if you read all the flavor text), but this kind of falls into the Ascension style of gameplay where its all pretty much decided by who gets lucky with the card draws. (For example, I got a building that basically let take a turn to ignore two accidents …. and there were two accidents in the event deck each time we went through). I would play this again, but I’m happy to play someone else’s copy.

Rating — Indifferent.

Hot Streak — Look, this is pretty much an excuse to yell and scream, more event than game. That being said, it’s a fun event. Also, the Hot Dog is the Mascot of (some City that Begins with “B”) Bun Bangers.

Rating — Indifferent.

St. Petersburg — It has apparently been 15 years since I played. It helped that the set I played was 2nd edition (and did not have the bonzo Mistress of Ceremonies). I should play this more.
