Role Play Games! Starting soon.

One shots Thursday 2nd as part of our first thursday which is starting at 4pm as part of the Baton of Hope trail.

RPGs have always been an important part of Herefordshire Board Gamers and we ran 100s of sessions over Covid online. There are over 10 active RPG campaigns right now because of us.

This is the biggest strength and weakness of RPGs, once groups form they can remain together for years with no change or spaces for new people.

Our Aims:
+Short adventures 1 to 6 sessions. Lots of opportunities to play with new people, new story tellers (GMs) and other systems.
+Supporting folks starting and forming campaigns but our focus will be on shorter form.
+ Supporting folks trying and learnign new RPGs, want to try how combat and character creation work in your new RPGs. DO IT! Don’t worry about writing or finding a whole adventure just do the bit you want to. We’ll set expectations and we can explore new systems togethers.
+ Teaching and support, How to be a player how to run games, we want to teach and support you.
+ A range of systems including Dungeons and dragons.

Next steps:
One shots Thursday 2nd.
One to dedicated RPG days.
RPGs at some events.
Moving to short campaigns and support sessions.

We don’t have a fixed plan as we want to see what interest there is.

This will most be happening on discord www.herefor.games/discord please add yourself to the RPG role in the role channel, as RPG channels are hidden by default.
